Pupil Premium

Introduction

The purpose of the pupil premium is to narrow the attainment gap between disadvantaged students and their peers.

Ashley College students have widely differing health needs and attainment levels, and therefore we provide a wide range of different incentives and experiences to help students develop the habits and skills that help them learn, thrive and build confidence for the future.   Some involve the whole school, some are designed for individual students with particular needs.

The majority of our students are dual registered with their mainstream school therefore we do not receive their Pupil premium funding. However, as we have pupil premium students attending the school we allocate appropriate resources from our budget.

We produce a spending strategy at the beginning of each year and a review of that spending at the end of the year.
