School Cook
As a one person catering department, the school cook will be fully responsible for the provision of school’s meals for children on site, promoting healthy eating and be willing to support and get involved in the ethos of our provision. Will be responsible for:
- The preparation of healthy, nutritionally balanced menus that meet the Government's national nutritional standards for school lunches, ensure menu adherence, and ensure effective portion control and minimise wastage.
- Undertake skilled cooking activities connected to the full range of menu provision for example meal planning, portion control, special dietary meals, and the preparation of ingredients for meals
- Present nutritious foods in ways that children will find attractive.
- Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and productive working environment, ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, its equipment and surrounds, and ensure that catering practice complies with appropriate health and safety legislation (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974) and Food and Hygiene Safety (Food Safety and Hygiene Regulations 2013, Food Safety Act 1990
- Monitor and manage stock and supplies within an agreed budget.............

KS3-4 Home Tuition Teacher - MATHS

- Tutors who are passionate about education, with sound National Curriculum knowledge and experience of teaching KS3/4 Mathematics
- Tutors with at least 2 years teaching experience in a mainstream school
- Tutors with a UK recognised teaching qualification. i.e. QTS
