Qualifications are an important indicator of success and schools are rightly judged on their success in national exams.
At Ashley College we specialise in helping students with complex needs arising from their physical and mental ill health. Some of them will have high levels of absenteeism (this is often why they are no longer in mainstream schools). Progress, particularly for those with multiple difficulties, school phobia and anxiety symptoms, in many cases may be better measured by attendance information.
We are proud of the results our students achieve, knowing that they have often overcome challenging health problems to attend school, to learn and study.
